Can an adult (well, 13yo) order a grilled cheese at The Plaza? Or get mac and cheese with out brisket? Not due to lower cost, just a picky eater.

TIA

I don't see why not. We have a few picky eaters in our group and Plaza accommodates well. May I also recommend the cheese fries (you'll thank me later, LOL). Plaza is a great restaurant. We have an ADR coming up in a couple of weeks for lunch. The Cheese Steal sandwich is also one of my personal favorites!

At pretty much every disney restaurant "adults" - or Disney's loose interpretation of what an adult is - can order off the kids menu. So you'll have no trouble ordering the grilled cheese. Similarly they are accommodating with changes so it shouldn't be an issue to remove the brisket from the mac n cheese.

It's my impression that they only really enforce the ages for buffet/family style and for the dining plan. Even with the dining plan, I've heard of adults ordering off the kids menu and getting an adult portion. If the menu is a la carte and you are paying yourself, you can order whatever you want, as far as I know.
