Plaza or Tony's?

DW has the urge to visit MK on Day 1 of our trip. I'd prefer to chalk it up as a travel/enjoy the resort day, but that's besides the point. I'd like to make an ADR for some food in the MK, so what do you think?

We've eaten at LTT a bunch of times when they had characters and will not return for dinner until ther characters do. We are not too keen on dinner buffets, so CP is out. So DISers, which one do you prefer for dinner Plaza or Tony's?

We have enjoyed both, but enjoy the lady & the tramp theme at Tony's, for a sit down meal. Columbia Harbor House has similar food to the Plaza and is a counter service meal.

Now to decide if DH is going to win and do Downtown Disney the first day. Or if I will get my way and go to MK and then where to eat.

We've been to both. But Plaza beats out Tony's for us. We just love the theme of the restaurant and the chance of pace in food after all the heavy meals we eat while at Disney on the dining plan. However, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Tony's is not my favorite restaurant at WDW, but I sure do enjoy sitting on the front porch having dinner while SpectroMagic is going on, and the atmosphere is kinda electric on Main Street anyhow.

Neither. Skip them both and hop the monorail to the Contemporary and dine at the California Grill.

A vote for Plaza! We ate dinner at both last week and had a good meal at Plaza and the worst meal of the trip at Tony's. Everyone in my party disliked their entrees - me especially. Nice atmosphere though. I agree with another poster, skip both and try Columbia Harbour - it's great and a CS.

I've never been to the Plaza or LTT, but I would try one of those before going to Tony's again. We just had our first visit to Tony's last week and was not at all impressed with the food.

We just had dinner last week at the Plaza for the first time and loved it. The food was very good. Everyone loved their meals. We were 4 adults and 4 kids. We will definitely be going back.

We've never eaten at the Plaza but we enjoyed Tony's very much and I would recommend trying it out!

The best question to ask is do you want a sandwich or a plated meal. Me, I don't see spending 12 bucks on a sandwich that I could make back at the room. But that's just my opinion.

We're trying out Tony's for the first time in June. We have a dinner ADR there, and it's my birthday! I'm excited...we like trying out new restaurants so this will be fun!
