Plaza or Skipper Canteen

If you had to go to one or the other for dinner, which would you choose?

Plaza was the worst meal I ever had at disney. Skipper canteen is pretty good for magic kingdom.

You're making the right call - Skipper is the better place for sure.

I like the Plaza more than Skippers, and feel they are both good in their own way. I ate at the Plaza before my MVMCP a couple of weeks ago and the food was excellent. They are just very different. Skippers is a little more adventurous and Plaza is more comfort food. We haven’t had a bad experience at either one.

I second this recommendation.

But I would point out the secret menu is WDW's worst-kept secret. Our server has offered it without prompting on every visit. And why wouldn't they? I mean, why keep it a secret when you can sell more apps by publicizing it?

It has been several years since we dined at Plaza. The burger was so greasy, you couldn't eat the bun as it dripped grease. Supposedly it has improved, but we haven't gone back. We enjoy Skippers, the food is still good, but they removed some of their more interesting options. We've never been disappointed dining there.
