How is this for a character breakfast? I usually like to do one in the beginning of the trip and one at the end. I already have Goofy's Kitchen on the list, but am trying to decide on another - non princess - breakfast.

So how does this rate in comparison to others? Besides Minnie who usually is there?

Oh and does the breakfast open before the park? Like could I make a 7am reservation even though the parks don't open until 8am?

The best IMO! By far the most characters at any meal *we've done 'em all. The food is fine *it's hard to mess up breakfast. I love that it's in the park, we'll tour the park for a couple hours *ride rides, collect a couple fast passes* and then stop by for brunch around 10:30am.

For characters you can see there look at these two links, each has pictures from a minnie's breakfast.

Yes, on some days you can get in to eat before the parks opens. But DL has variable opening times so it really depends on what day you go. On MM days you can enter for breakfast not using a MM credit on your PHs, eat and get in for a little of MM.

Like DisneyMomma said try eating later if you can't eat before the park opens. That way you won't waste the hours with the shortest lines eating.

I think this is the best Character meal because it's in DL. I would only choose one of the other breakfasts in the hotels over it if you are staying in that hotel and it's convinient.

We ate there for, I think, the 3rd or 4th time on Thursday. The park opened at 10am that day and so MM hours started at 9am. We had a 9:10am reservation, so they had us go to Gate 1, checked our name off on a list, and we entered through there.

On our last trip we ate at Goofy's Kitchen and I have to say we prefer Minnie's. I only wish we would have gotten to see all the characters there. We did manage to see Tigger, Chip, Dale, Brer Fox, Minnie, Max and Captain Hook but I also saw Eeyore, Gipetto, Gideon and the Fairy Godmother on the other side of the restaurant and they never made it over to our side.

As far as characters go, I'd say Minnie's is the best, but we were not fond of the food at all. For a good balance of food and characters, we go to Mickey's Surf's Up (I think that's what it's called now, it used to be Lilo & Stitch, it's the one in PPH). We do dinner at Goofy's, so I can't comment on the breakfast food there, but we were not happy with Minnie's, especially as most of the characters we could find around the park.

Love Love Love Minnie & Friends bfast!!! The best character meal IMO! :) That said, we haven't done Storyteller's bfast and we haven't done the Surf's Up! since Mickey moved there, but we loved M&F!!

We went a few weeks ago and I am so glad we did. It was a our first Disney experience of the trip (first day, first thing in the morning) and what a great way to start it all off! Even though my daughters didn't necessarily know all the characters (like Rafiki, and the fox from Pinocchio), every single character seemed to hit every table at least twice. My kids hair was style by Chip and Dale, Tigger would grab their balloon and bonk them on the heads, Minnie protected my youngest from Rafiki, whom she was terrified of. It was fabulous.

We saw: Captain Hook, Tigger, Eeyore, Fairy Godmother, Rafiki, penguin from Mary Poppins, Max (Goofy's son), fox from Pinocchio, Chip and Dale, and Minnie of course... they just kept coming out of the doors.

The food was fine but honestly, you're not there for the food. My kids hardly touched theirs. They were too busy playing :goodvibes

We went not once this past weekend but twice! We loved the food...I thought the characters were so so...we saw Minnie the least both days!!! Here is who we saw (both days were the exact same): Minnie, Captain Hook, Rafiki, Tigger, Gepetto, Fairy Godmother, Eeyore, Max, Chip and Dale, Fox from Pin....Kinda 2nd rate IMHO, but we still had a blast and will for sure go back!!!!

Loved that it was in the park, we did some rides, went and ate a lot, then went right back...Plenty of food to last until dinner!

We went to every character breakfast except Ariel's on our trip last Christmas. There are loads of pics and reviews on all four in my TR (link below) our family's favorite was Mickey's Surf's Up at the PPH. Minnie's was a close second though. Be sure to use your whole 90 minutes! I couldn't believe the people who came in ate & left within 30 mins while we were there...In 90 minutes at Minnie's we saw I think 11 characters and only missed one that we saw coming to our table as she was headed backstage when we got there.

We saw Rabbit there in October, in additgion to many previously mentioned.

You mean we are restricted to 90mins for breakfast?

Yep but it is plenty of time! They do have to keep it moving for the next batch of people with PS. They do inform you of this when you call to make your PS arrangements.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we have done Minnie's 2x and would highly recommend it. The character breakfast food seems to be pretty standard at most locations (although I think Storytellers is a bit nicer and gives you a non buffet option). However, when it come to sheer number of characters, Minnie's cannot be beat! Like others have said, we have visited with 10-11 characters each time we are there. We do tend to remain for the full 90 minute seating time you are allotted to make sure we see all these characters, plus with kids, breakfast can take that long anyhow.

Each character meal has a 90 minute restriction, but it's plenty of time, you won't have any problems eating and visiting with characters within that 90 minutes. :) We've done quite a few character meals and we've never had a problem being done in the 90 minute time, of course if you go 10-15 minutes over they won't kick you out, but they will if you're there much longer than that.

I didn't see Piglet either, which was a huge bummer for me since he's my favorite WtP character. I think in all my 14 visits, I've seen him once.
