Errm... Technically, it's impossible not to have viruses. No OS to date hasn't had any viruses... The viruses are very far and few between, though. And Vista sooo stole that aqua theme from Apple.

WRONG! Windows only gets viruses for the simple reason that it has a registry. No other OS had registries since they let your computer get spyware, adware and viruses.

Sorry, I've been a bit off today... I went to sleep after downing a couple cans of Coke... It's pretty simple to edit the registry, simply type regedit into Run and voila... the registry awaits. Heck, people modify it to change the icon on IE or change to the of IE to "Bill's Browser" or something...

Um.. that has nothing to do with getting viruses.. Windows is NOT open-source. Even windows claim of Vista being open-source is a lie. The only thing open-source about it is how easy it is to HACK into a computer running Vista. Heck! Windows 95 gives you more protection from hackers than Vista and also even if you edit the registery Windows computers save everything on your hard drive. Ever time you get a virus no matter what the crappy antivirus software like Norton says like that like got rid of it. The only true way to get rid of it is to reformat your harddrive. The registry is also why the more stuff you install the slower your computer gets. This does not happen on Linux because Linux uses kernels.

P.S. If your gonna ask why windows put it in there scroll a bit down the VMK Community Board threads to see my windows-US Military agreement conspiracy.

We had countless mac run through my house, the only problem i ever had was with OS9 and crashing...when i got to ten the program crashed not the system.( my life saver...soon to be my life saver time machine;)(a new program from leopard) )

(sorry a really bad nerd side of me :rolleyes1 )

WOW. I went to EB Games tonight, and guess what they had in store for me! A WII DEMO! YAY! I got my mom to hand them her driver's licence (sp?) so I could get the controller for the demo. It really is different, all they had for it was Excite Truck, but still. The controller was so small! @_@

O_O!!! You have to give 'em your drivers license to play?! I was there the other day staring at it and trying not to drool on its nice, crystal-clear, anti-theft case!! If I had known that I would have been able to play it!!! :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

That's pretty wierd that you need your driver's liscense to play a Wii demo. What, are you going to drive away on the WiiMote?

*Grows evil-y mustache*

you can give them some other id like student id its just so you dont steal a $40 contoller and if you do they know who you are

yea also for the higher rated game demos you also need to show them your ID.

Ya Its A good idea beacuse if you steal the controller you can't drive away with it (without the danger of getting a ticket.) The only place I found a Wii demo was at the MOA about 3 days before it came out.

Yeah, it makes sense to me, they don't want you running off with it. They want something that you'll want to make sure you get back so you don't steal it.

Methinks they should have you play the game in a clear glass box. The second you remove the controller from it's perch, the doors lock and a neurotoxin begins to pump into the box if you try to open the door. The only way to escape is to return the controller to it's happy little home.

Muhahahahahahhahahahahahaaaaa!

By the way, controllers are being recalled because of property damage caused by the wrist strap breaking off and being hurtled into the most costly item in the room. I = Win.

Nintendo's not calling it a recall, just replacement. XD

if ppl are swinging the control hard enough to have it fly that fast. It might be over 50% their fault. i am not saying it is 100% the persons fault. but it is probably mostly the persons fault
