August 23rd until September 8th staying at Nearest universal/Hard rock and Animal Kingdom lodge with disney dining plan. looking forward to yummy desserts like this

Well apart from Orlando the other Passion in our family is PORTSMOUTH FC, we have been season ticket holders for many years. so to explain the title of this pre trippie, when I booked this holiday I knew the footie season would have started, but hoped the fixtures would be kind to us and we wouldnt miss too many home matches as a) i would have a grumpy hubby and b)we would spend most of the holiday trying to find out the footie scores.
here we are in our non florida attire

Well the computer that sorts out fixtures must have been listening as the only home match we miss is Pompey v Bristol city and Nan has already claimed our seats

anyway here is our rough plan of action

Aug 22 head up to the Holiday inn at gatwick dinner at the local frankie and Bennys

Aug 23 11.15 flight with virgin atlantic, after a couple of years of driving from Miami I am looking forward to arriving in Orlando. Check into nearest universal head to city walk for dinner maybe play some golf

Aug 24 check into Hard rock collect front of line passes, this is a complimentry stay after some problems last year so hope its better. Spend the day at islands of adventure dinner at Margaritaville

Aug 25 day at universal studios, evening check in at Animal Kingdom lodge dinner at Boma

Aug 26 lazy Morning at resort pool time etc maybe water park, afternoon dis meet at captn cooks, evening dinner liberty tree tavern then stay up late for EMH at magic Kingdom.


Aug 27th no plans yet except dinner at Chef Mickeys find out the footie scores, PLay Up Pompey

Aug 28th day at Hollywood studios,hoping to say hi to Bethan and Taryn dinner at Mama Melrose and then Fantasmic

Aug 29th Breakfast at Boma then day at either the beach or silver springs havent decided yet

Aug 30th lazy pool morning Lunch at Rose and crown afternoon evening Epcot and illuminations

Aug 31 shopping and then dinner at cape May

Sept 1 day at animal Kingdom dinner at le cellier

Sept 2 free day no plans dinner portobellos or t rex ?? or maybe Kieran will order room service again

sept 3 no plans yet dinner chef de france

Sept 4 lazy morning not using the car today just Disney transport as looking forward to meeting a certain Mandy Mouse at the polyin the afternoon then having dinner at whispering canyon cafe also renting the mouse boats

Sept 5 no plans dinner crystal palace

sept 6 no plans dinner via napoli

Sept 7th no plans but dinner CRT-just wanted to try it but we may change our minds

Sept 8th Check out, virgin check in , typhoon lagoon and downtown disney head to the airport and flight home 7.50


this is our rough Plan but we usually end up chopping and changing. I will try much harder to actually finish my trippie this time when I get back honest

very excited today as our flight tickets and car hire voucher arrived today, just waiting for the Disney envelope now

logged in to virgin atlantic and their countdown said its only 32 days, 16 hrs, 38 mins until your next flight with us... (not keen on flying )

HI Sarah, yes Portsmouth FC are also known as Pompey and our other obsession after Florida is supporting this lot .

whooo hooo its SDD day

Ive got a few days left to get myself organised, after so much planning ive just realised ive forgottton to order universal tickets so thats todays Job.

I have still to buy all the boring toiletries and purchase some dollars for Kieran
the washing machine has decided to start spewing water all over the Kitchen floor, gotta love the timing, A very nice man from british gas is coming to repair it on wednesday Morning.

but apart from a few minor hicups we are almost set and after a whole year of saving we are only 9 days away
