play castle

I'm trying to decide which play castle to get dd (3 yrs in March) for Christmas.

My two choices are:

Does anyone have either one of these sets? Does your child enjoy it? Is the castle you have durable?

I think these would accommodate many different sized princesses, and the wood makes it more furniture like.

I haven't owned either one...but wanted to say that if it was my choice, I would go with the Cinderella's Castle!

My Aunt has the Cinderella castle and it is quite sweet. when DD 2 1/2 goes to visit she loves to play with it. It has alot of little pieces. The lights really work and other accesories make noises. I actually like the one from Walmart too.. I just bought DD the little dolls at Target for 3 dollars each. I didn't know there was a castle to go with !
Tough call...the price might help me out ???

After you choose can I come over and play ?

We have the Cinderella Castle and my DD LOVES it! It comes with LOTS of stuff--the princesses, their princes, lights that work, shrubs, carriage, wishing well, etc. The castle itself has parts that light up and make noise (only if button is pressed) as well. DEFINITELY worth the money, IMHO. My DD now uses her Polly Pockets in it as well...

Another vote for Cindy's castle. We've had ours for almost 2 years and it still gets played with almost daily. GREAT SANTA gift IMO

Oh, and it's sturdy, holds up to abuse and comes with all the little characters. Money well spent.

DD3 has both Cinderella's castle and Aurora's castle. She LOVES them, and they get played with a LOT. They're not terribly sturdy (Cindy's is better than Aurora's), but they're great, and well worth the money--at least to us!

I've been considering getting them both for Christmas. What makes Cindy's better? I know I want Cindy's castle but I'm not totally sold on both.

They both use different figures. The 1st one uses the princesses that you can buy with the rubber like clothes. You can buy each princess with a set of clothes at Target or Walmart. My DD loves these and always plays with them. CInderella's castle comes with little figures..it depends.
