If I have a platinum passport, do I get all "platinum" benefits, or only those at my "home park"? I have a platinum passport that was obtained at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
The reason I am asking is that on the SeaWorld Orlando website, I am able to login as a passport member, and on the page highlighting the platinum benefits, it says:
"Enjoy these "home park" benefits at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Seaworld Orlando and Adventure Island only:
Reserved seating at all shows at SeaWorld Orlando (must arrive 15 minutes prior to show time, reserved seating is limited)
Free Skytower rides at SeaWorld Orlando (subject to availability)
"Ride Again" privielges at Wild Arctic, Kraken and Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando"
Since my "home park" is Williamsburg, does that mean that I can't take advantage of these "perks", or does having a platinum passport from any of the parks give me these perks?
A few years ago, we went to Tampa and we had a platinum passport, and it seemed like each place we went, there was a different "rule" on what we could get as perks. Merchandise gave us 40% off one time, another place only gave 10% off, and then at the sit-down restaurant, we were told we could not get the 10% off food, but all the other food vendors took the discount off..... It was one of the first years that they did the 2-year platinum passport, so maybe it was just confusion on what it was. A couple of times, the employees told us they had never heard of a "platinum" passport and went to get a manager.
Just curious if anyone has been able to take advantage of these SeaWorld platinum perks when there passport was obtained at another location.
And if anyone has any info on where the reserved seats are located for each of the shows, and if they are "good" seats, or if its better to just get there early and get "good" seats without using the passport perk.....
Thanks in advance.
