Platinum-Palo question

We just completed our 10 DCL and now the whole family is platinum. One benefit of being platinum is a "free" trip to Palo. Thus the question, the 2 kids are under the age of 18 and can not go to Palo. Will DCL let my bride and I go to Palo twice, once using our platinum benefit and the second time using the kids platinum benefit? Obviously, the kids would have to be on board to utilized this, the way I have described. If this is not possible, what else could be done? Or do I just write I off as a lost cause?

The palo platinum benefit is one per stateroom for those over 18, therefore it doesn't really apply to the 2 younger ones

The meal perk is one per stateroom regardless of number of actual platinum members in the room.

From the DCL Castaway Club perk list:
Offer includes dining service fee ($30) for one dinner. Available to Platinum Castaway member and Guests staying in member's stateroom. Must be 18 years of age or older. Subject to availability

Everyone in the room (18 and over) gets a "free" meal.

Everyone in your stateroom over 18 can go to palo and have a complimentary meal. This has been our experience at least!

This includes all adults in the stateroom, even if not all of the adults are platinum, correct? We are going on the 12 night Med cruise this summer, and I am platinum, but my wife won't be until after this cruise.

Yes, the perk is for the Platinum CC member and all adults in the same room.
