Platinum Package

Hi, My family went to WDW in 2005 and had a blast. We are now returning mid-June 2009. I subscribe to Mousesavers.com newsletter and they show a 25% discount on platinum package. I just wanted to see what everyone's take is on this deal and how to maximize my package with this deal. There will be 4 adults and 2 children and we would like to stay at the Polynesian. We did the regular dining plan before and loved it! I know you get A LOT of stuff with the platinum plan like a fireworks cruise and a spa treatment and the circus show. I'm just afraid it will be too expensive, even with the discount. I have put a quote request in with Small World Travel and also AAA to get an idea. What are your thoughts about this package in general? We plan to stay 6 nights, but only get theme park tickets for 4 days (one day for each of 4 main parks). We will take advantage of the extended hours for the parks, too. Thanks for any input!

For me, personally, there is way too much included in the platinum package to do in six days. Also, I think it's way too expensive even with a discount. It's up to you though. The only way I'd do the package is if I was planning to do most of those things seperately anyway.

I was joking with hubby about upgrading to platinum but honestly I am overwhelmed trying to fit everything into our trip as it as. Sounded really nice but I think it would be too much for us. This is the only thing I found on cost but it is for 2008,
