Platinum or gold AP

We are considering buying the gold ap but have pondered over the platinum ap card, is the extra money worth the extras that you get?
any advice on either card would be helpful

Not positive but isn't the platiunum price just 2 times what the gold cost and good for 2 years.

We have the platinums for BG here in Williamsburg so I'm not positive on the price if you buy them at SW. Plus we always get buy 4 for the price of 3 here.

If you will use if for 2 years then do it and take advantage of possibly going to any of the other parks for FREE!!

it all depends on how many parks you want included since they're both two year passports. we've got platinum because adventure island and busch gardens are close to us. if you're just planning on visiting just Sea World, gold would be fine.

the best perks are the free preferred parking, reserved seating at SW shows, the ride agains, and free admission to howl-o-scream nights at BG.

if you're wanting to visit more parks and plan on using the passport a few times, I'd definately consider the upgrade.

You may get free addmission to Howl-o-scream at the Williamsburg BG but you still have to pay for it at Tampa but you get a reduced rate for the tickets. They do it differently at both BG parks. We are doing the Howl-o-Scream at Tampa this year and had to pay for it. They run it like WDW does and closes the park to get all the day guest out and have special tickets for there. Williamsburg however lets the guest enjoy the howl-o-scream as part of the regular admission. Have no idea why each park is different but that is what I found out last year.

the first two nights are Spooky previews for passholders in Tampa. platinum gets in free both nights and gold and silver pay about $20.00. we always go to the free nights and then HHN's at Universal a couple of times.

I wish they did it Williamsburg's way.
