Platinum DVDs

I was just wondering if the Platinum DVDs started out with slip covers because I've seen Snow White with one but whenever I look it up on eBay hardly anyone ever has a slip cover,

Snow White didn't come with one. It was in one of the older keepcases that were "Double Wide" for 2 disc sets.

I have thrown out ever slip cover I've ever gotten. Should have saved them for ebay... oh well

I don't think it did come with one, if it did I would have kept it. Of course I am missing disc #1 because our it was left in our roomies DVD player when we moved out and I didn't notice it till I wanted to watch it. Duh! Thats gonna be expensive to replace. (Plus I want to make sure I get a real disc and not a copy or import).

Of the Platinums I have all but Bambi I have a case for, some are sold with a case and some are not. No real rhyme or reason for it. I have Cinderella, Lion King, Alaadin, Lady and The Tramp all with slip covers. But I have seen versions of these without a cover for sale at the store.

I've saved all my covers. Snow White was the first Platinum Edition I ever purchased, and my copy did not come with a cover.
