Plastic ticket + linked ticket: please double-check me!

I have a non-hopping non-expiring ticket that has 6 days left that is linked to my magic band. But I also have a 1-day park-hopper ticket (that was a complimentary pass).

I'm going for a 4-day trip and would like to hop one day. Can I just use that plastic park-hopper ticket the day I want to hop and still have access to the FP+ that I make for that day? Is there anything I need to be careful of?

I've read a bunch of threads, and think I understand, but I appreciate someone double-checking me on that! This is my first magic band trip!

You will even be able to get 3 ADDITIONAL same-day FP+ if you carry your MagicBand into the park and use the plastic ticket for the same-day FP and the MagicBand for the 3 pre-arranged FP.

If you'd like to book FPs with your plastic, hopper ticket, link it to You#2 in your MDE account and pre-book a set of 3 FPs.

You can also book a set of FPs for the hopping day by using your non-expiry entitlement. Use the MB at the FP tapstiles for these FPs.

Only enter the park via the ticket on your hopping day and your non-expiry ticket entitlements remain intact.
