I've had a face lift, tummy tuck, brow lift, and breast lift, augmentation...and lipo. The best money I've ever spent. At the end of the month I have a consult for an arm lift. I was anorexic during my early teen years, absolutely ruined my body. Anyone considering it needs to understand that you have to have a surgeon you trust, and that all the operations in the world won't keep you from gaining weight. I work much harder now to keep my stomach firm and my weight down.

What is an arm lift? Is it tightening of the skin in the tricep area? I didn't even know that they did something like that. Now the wheels are turning in my head!! I hate working on my triceps, no matter how much work i do, they are still flapping around.

I recently had a tummy tuck. Not the regular kind - it was because 5 years ago I had a mastectomy. Back in December I had whats called a DIEP flap reconstruction where they take the tummy fat and move it up, so to speak. I also went back and had a lift on the other side. Insurance paid for the procedures.

Let me tell you, after 4 kids there was plenty to work with and my tummy hasn't been this flat since I was in HS. My DD20 is jealous. Plastic surgery is amazing, I had no idea. The recuperation period was shorter than I thought it would be, I was back at work in 2 weeks. I never could have afforded it myself.

I would have something done if we had the money. I would really like to try out my DD's Dr. before she has to have some work done down the road. She will be having a nose job and her jaw realined (sp?) when she loses all her baby teeth. SHe has Binder's Syndrome, so it is not like we are just taking her because she wants a new nose.
