Plastic in Subway's Bread??

Odd. Subway doesn't bother my stomach and it seems to be bothered by almost everything. I must handle the plastic well. ;)

Same here. I figure with all the crap I'm sure I'm ingested so far in my lifetime, a little plastic is minor. :thumbsup2

Anyone else think about how much of that stuff Jared has eaten??? :scared1:

Pizza Hut uses the same additive in their dough. The amount of chemicals and crap allowed in our food is ridiculous, this additive is banned in many countries. In Singapore it comes with a large fine and jail time for anyone caught using it. In most European countries is something containers artificial dyes or flavors it has to have a warning label.

In our house nearly everything is made from scratch and with organic ingredients, I research everything I put into my family's body, we don't eat anything with artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.

They have different options not all the sandwiches have fritos on them.

The chemicals that go into preserving deli meats isn't good for you either.

The public has been blinded into thinking about foods in terms of calories. They really should be thinking in terms of ingredients. If it looks foreign to you, you can bet your body will think it's a foreign object when it tries to digest it.

I did a little research and wanted to add that it appears that Jimmy johns uses this also in their bread as well as Cousins Subs (a more local sub chain). They don't post ingredient lists on their site but I found it through other sources so you can judge the validity for yourself.

Not sure on Fire House subs, but I did email them if they had an ingredient list available. Quizno's was the same.

Over the holidays I was looking for some buns. I wasn't at my usual grocery store and couldn't find them. I finally found some in the bakery section. I hesitated because I knew they wouldn't last as long. I happened to know the manager at that store. I had already seen him and said hello. He passed by again and I asked him about how long the buns would last. He said not as long as the name brands because they put gases in them. :crazy2: Gases. I thanked him and took the bakery buns with me.
