Plastic Cups

Hi There, Just a quick question, I saw that the Little Mermaid ride is selling those plastic cups that are really good for water, they are like a harder plastic and usually have a straw. Anyone who has been lately, is that the only place that is selling them, or have you seen them in any of the other shops with other characters? Thank You.

I didn't buy any random drinks last trip so didn't pay great attention. They sound to me like the souvenire/collectable cups for this summer you can get drinks in, in DCA.

I know what you're talking about! I know they have them for World of Color, but I don't recall any characters on those cups. (And they cost a lot more than I expected! )

I remember seeing them I believe. There was a little store right next to LM. They are just like the WOC ones too. Pretty pricey, I looked at getting the WOC one. Since I wanted SOMETHING with WOC on it. I ended up getting the magnet and key chain (was quite disappointed with their WOC stuff).

I am so excited they have them for WOC, I think I might get that one and maybe the Little Mermaid one, I drink lots of water so these will be great for that at work. They aren't the refillable ones at the parks, they would be more like a souviner type thing, they sell them in stores, but I would like a Disney themed one. Where is the WOC merchandise? Is it out all the time or just during the shows?

You'll be able to find the cups/etc. in DCA during the day. I saw them in Greetings from California...but that store will probably be closed during my trip...I'm sure they'll be elsewhere, though. The stores on the boardwalk had a lot of WoC merchandise.

Some of the FOOD/etc. is only available during or around the time of the shows, but the merchandise should be widely available.

They have them for Star Tours but unfortunately they have gotten them in twice and sold them out pretty much the same day. Want one really bad.

They have them for the Little mermaid ride. They are super cute and they had them at disneystore.com for 2 days then they were gone I went to buy one but it was too late. Since we are going next wk I didnt sweat it too much bc it was park merch!

I am kind of afraid now. Should I call and order these before my trip or should I wait? Do you think they will have them? I was going to pick up a few different ones, as I said most the girls at work have them for the water and I have been holding out for mine since I like to put a Disney spin on everything. I hope they have them, espcially the WOC one.

Here are the World of Color cups from June 2010, at least. They do not seem to be in any immediate danger of selling out.

Ooh- what do your magnet and keychain look like? We were there for the WOC premiere last June and they had hardly any merchandise. Basically it was shirts, a glass and a few pins. I really did want a magnet or something else, but there wasn't a lot of stuff to choose from.
