Its a bit off topic, but does anyone know where you can get the plastic seethrough bags that you now have to take any liquids on the aircraft in your hand luggage

security at the airport will have them or you can just use plastic see through food bags! thats what i use!
dont forget that the restrictions on liquids still apply. you cant take anything over 100ml, you can't even have bottles (ie: perfume) that are over that size even if theyre half empty.

I wouldnt spend any money on bags if you dont have to-- just use ziplock bags or something (food bags). :goodvibes

Took this off the TSA website. THe quart size bags can be found at the grocery store. Do not get the gallon size they will reject it.

3 –1–1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening.

Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

3-1-1 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.

Declare larger liquids. Prescription medications, baby formula and milk are allowed in quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

Come early and be patient. Heavy travel volumes and the enhanced security process may mean longer lines at security checkpoints.

they have to be small ones as well, we used small food bags when we went to antigua in jan. they have to be able to be sealed as well so you can reseal them if needed, i got the press together ones from wilkinsons about 99p (I work in the travel industry so know this stuff)

we have a '99p store' near us and they sell a box of 120 press-close see-thru' bags. I took a few with us, but the airport staff were handing them out anyway.
