Plans on attending the "Member Homecoming"

Comes down to money for us....I'd love to plan a trip (don't have one in the planning stages) but $1800 for my family to enjoy a few extra hours doesn't work for us....even with the $50 AP discount that comes to $1500.....That's 1/2 my WDW weeks budget....Darn....hopefully the Member Cruise would have more lead time...but it seems they have a pattern going...

We certainly wish that we could go, but as I posted earlier, we already have our '04 plans.

I don't understand some of the negative thoughts here. You know, it is the extra things such as this that truly makes DVC a cut above the rest.

I voted plan to attend because I will already be there....key work "plan". That doesn't mean I really will. My thought if some how they sell a ticket for each event then maybe I will go for that. We are leaving on the 27th so that event will be out for us, I dont' want to spend money on something I will not be using. I e-mailed MS to see if they are planning on selling a ticket for each event. Maybe by the time they answer me, they will be sold out and I don't get to go anyway. Time Will Tell.

we will not be going. I thought for a brief moment about a quick long weekend trip but then I saw the prices--ack! not worth it for me!!!!

Well I was finally able to vote because we are going. Talked to Member Services this morning and they were able to convert our existing reservation to a new one for this time frame. We'll be staying at OKW which is a first for us.

I'll be on the phone early Wednesday to order our tickets. Member Services did say they are selling something in the area of 4000. I love new and different things like this and as I've said before if they make it even half as special as the Member Cruise it will be worth it to us.

Guess I live under a lucky start....sent in my Email request to member services Friday night. At 11:03 AM on Monday came back the reservation conformation for 4 nights in a studio at Wilderness Lodge villas....
