So, for those of you that plan your park days......

Do you plan them around the newer morning/evening EMH days or the older, historical stay away from MK on M&Sat, or Epcot on Sun&Tues addage ???

I am pulling my hair out here trying to set my days up :scared1:

We plan our days on the morning EMH parks. Almost always try to get there for the early opening. Then the afternoon we plan on where we want to be for dinner.

We plan for Morning EMH and end up at Evening EMH after a waterpark or Resort Mid-day break.

I plan mine around evening EMH as we aren't early risers. We had no problems last year with it being busy. Other days I plan just whatever (usually around ADR's).

We plan our mornings around EMH's but only for the MK. We hardly go to AK and Epcot and DHS are never a problem getting there at normal opening. We don't let park hours rule our stays and never let dining interfere with our parks. As for evening EMH's, we like to do EPCOT and MK, we found that the more time we spend on vacation, the more flexible we can be in hours. We're not die in the park people, few hours in the am and alittle more in the pm with resort, pool, shopping and exploring during the mid day. Our stays run 9-12 nights, we do a couple of EMH's not every day, it's vacation and with the length of our trips, we can watch the resort wake up, casual breakfast etc, and we have AP's so popping into the MK for a Casey's "dog" is possible.

So then, for those of you that go to the parks on morning EMH days......do you find that the parks are any more crowded than say , on NON-EMH mornings?

I pick my travel times in regards to the time of the year. (less heat, less crowds)

I pick my park days based on:

MK - when spectromagic and wishes schedules. if i am on property and can make it for EMH pm.

DHS - try to base it on fantasmic - and again if i am on property and can make it for EMH.

Epcot - we dont always go there when we are visiting the world - but i guess we would schedule it according to illuminations

AK - again, we dont always go - but that just lands on an empty day.

I have never based the day of visit based on the "guides" and have never had a problem, although i go during the less crowded times of the year.

So then, for those of you that go to the parks on morning EMH days......do you find that the parks are any more crowded than say , on NON-EMH mornings?

We notice that there seems to be less guests on EMH mornings than normal park openings. But as the morning wears on, EMH, you tend to see the crowds increasing. We normally go to Adventureland, we seem to have the whole side to ourselves till around 10-ish, by then we're in Frontierland headed to the Haunted Mansion and the crowds have increased alot, we normally head out thru the Castle and down Main Street to go to our resort. We've got alot accomplished by then, heat has gone up and most attractions in Tomorrowland have lines. You have the early risers for morning EMH's and then the regular hour guests getting in at 9am so the crowd value goes up.
