I HATE yellow gold as well!! I'm along the lines of anything that is a simple princess cut will do. I kind of feel like Carrie (Sex and the City) when she found the pear shaped gold engagement ring in Aiden's bag....and threw up!

FYI, my DBF and I went to NYC about a year ago and HAD to go into Tiffany, 2nd floor, diamond rings. Anyway, I tried on a $60k BLING ring that was 2.5 karats and was GORGEOUS! I always thought that anything 2+ karats would be too much, but trust me....this ring was NOT!

Of course, anything DBF picks out just for me I know I'll love!

I definitely woke up from that dream feeling very Carrie like, a little vomit in my mouth and all After I told DBF about the dream, he photoshopped his own version of the ring for me because he is a comedian like that. If only I wasn't at work I'd post it, it's hilarious and very scarily exact too.

I'm not one for big diamonds, or diamonds at all actually (I know, I'm probably some weird mutant strain of female who doesn't like diamonds), but I would love to at least try on one huge, ridiculous ring that only God himself could afford at least once, maybe to freak DBF out a little by telling him its "the one"

I have tried on other cuts of rings and well princess is not only my favorite, but looks oh so pretty on my finger!!
