Planning Session

Hi

I'm looking at gettting married in walt disney world in sept 08 but as I'm a uk bride I cant book anything till 12 months beforehand.

How do I go about booking a planning session? We were thinking of going to WDW sept 07 and thought we could combine it with the planning session as that would be 12 months and might be able to book our wedding?

If you can give any advice that would be great

Hmm well it is my understanding that Disney really perfers for the wedding to be only 6 months away or less...this is what they told us at least. I do not believe you can have a planning session until you have signed a contract which is at the 1 year or 8 month mark depending on the venue. You can however do a site visit. Disney has been known to make a ton of exceptions so my advice to you is to contact them directly....hey you never know. Good luck.

They wont let you have a planning session until you have actually booked your location! Not sure if you have to sign the contract first?

However if your after a siute visit, if you tell them you are a UK bride they will do this before the 1 year mark. I had mine about 16 months out. We had a planning session about 6 months ago so about 8/9 months before our wedding.

Like everyone else said I'm pretty sure that you can't schedule a planning session until you have your wedding booked. I will be having my planning session 7 months before the wedding in January
