the base price is going up. even if the incentive goes up it won’t offset the price hike

At least call a guide and get pricing that is locked in for 7 days even if you aren't ready to put a down payment down today. At least you'll have a week to get things figured out.

They aren’t going to give massive discounts while increasing the price because they are trying to set the new higher value in the minds of guests. They might give a one season discount that is close to today’s price, but not as good. And then it will go up further in the next season likely.

My guess is incentives get slightly worse across the board, due to the price increase. I think hoping for the rare exception at the same time as a price increase, would boarder line impossible. Sorry for the doom and gloom.

The only resort that may be the exception is that cabins at fort wilderness.

I'll be curious to see if the per point discount is a bit better so offset the price increase. I still don't think the actual cost will be better than current incentives though.

It never gets cheaper to wait (very rarely. The price always goes up, or you may be paying the same for less points.

Hoping for a rare exception!

In recent years, summer has had the better incentives for one or two resorts.

I think RIV incentives get better but net result will be the same.

I think CFW get better with a net result slightly better.

I think PVB tower incentives stay the same with net result slightly more.

Not sure if they will choose a sold out resort to put incentives on but it seems to be the new norm.

Next round will be underwhelming in my opinion.

Summer incentives might get better if the new pricing slows down sales during spring. But I wouldn’t bet on it.
