If one was to go to DL the first week of January 2013 would the holiday overlays still be in place and open. That's for IASW and HM. What would the crowds be like? thanks

Yes it will likely be very busy and HM and IASW are likely to be up until January 6.

If they folllow the same schedule as they have in years past, in 2013 the Holidays will likely be in full swing through Sunday January 6th. Haunted Mansion will go down to layover removal on Monday January 7th. Small World about 2 weeks later.
