My husband and I are going to Universal/IOA for the first time in November. We're staying at Disney and taking a cab or something over to Universal on 2 of the days. My question is, how easy is it to hop between the two parks. Should we plan on one day at US and one at IOA or is it possible (or worth it) to go back and forth?

You can really do either since the parks are right beside each other. It's very easy to hop back and forth. Depending on the crowd level, you might be able to do a little of both parks in one day but I would recommend a full day at each park...just to take everything in.
