Hello! I'm just starting to plan our first family trip to Disney and boy is it overwhelming! My kids are 5 and 3 and we're so ready to take them to Disney!!!

We're staying off-site (because we have free lodging that way) and will be driving from the midwest! Hoping to get there in november or december. Can't wait to learn from all of you! :worship:

Have a great time!

Free is a good deal, but if you ever get the chance, stay onsite. Its the best way to get totally absorbed into WDW.

The first trip is always overwhelming but it will only get easier every trip after! Not sure how much of a planner you are. Even though we have been on 13 Disney Trips I still spend hours and hours getting plans together, for me it is half the fun. I think the Unofficial Book is great and I give 2 thumbs up to Tour Guide Mike (a paid on line site, but only about $20 or so). Also Mousesavers and Allears are great web sites with a wealth of valuable information. Of course you may know all this but thought I would put it out there. To me it is important to have a plan of some kind. We are RD people and make all our ADRs before we leave and know what we are doing each day we are there. Everyone is different and every family has to find what works best for them so the first trip is trial and error as well. I am excited for you! Have a Magical Trip and enjoy every moment, even the planning. ;)
