Well the title says it all. We are from southern CA, and this is the very first trip to the world(and FL!) for myself, my other half and our 8 year old son. We fly out the day before our sons 9th bday, it's a surprise! Any good surprise revealing suggestions are greatly appreciated. We haven't decided on how/when to surprise our son. He cried(happy tears) when he got an iPad for his last birthday, so I can't wait to see this reaction!
We are booked in a river view room at POR oct 7-13, and plan on using disney transportation. I have made a reservation at Crystal Palace for lunch on my sons bday, bought MNSSHP tickets for the 10th, and made a reservation for Tonys Town Square prior to MNSSHP. I am planning on buying 6 day base tickets from ticket momma.com..... Beyond that I haven't planned much. I purchased touring plans to help figure out which parks the do each day. I know for sure we will do MK on our first day(tuesday oct 8) because its also my sons bday. I already bought him the yellow "it's my birthday" ears. I plan on shipping some snacks, coffee, toiletries, and other small necessities prior to our arrival. I'd like to get a case of water too. I'm trying to figure out the best way to buy/ship something as heavy as water, I don't want to spend the extra $$$ for garden grocer just for water.
I'd love, love, love some tips, tricks, any anything else that might help our trip run smoothly. Thanks everyone!
