Planning our first DVC trip- help

Hi,
I am planning our first trip using our DVC points. We are looking at next year. My question is are the ticket and meal plans that you see when you try to book a conventional trip availible to us as well.
I thought the ticekt prices and the meal plan were well priced and thought it would make a great addtion to our trip. Also the pickup with lugguge at the airport is huge, they did that on our cruise and it made all the difference in the world.

Any help or tips to planning a DVC trip would be great.

The only park pass discounts available to DVC members are on AP's & PAP's. You can still purchase the MYW passes, but they will be reg price.

As far as dining, the dining plans are only available to resort guests staying on a full price or AAA package. There was a rumor here that they'll be offering DVC member a dining package sometime in the future.


I'm not 100% sure about the airport pick-up, but I'm assuming that it's not available to DVC members (again, another package perk).....If I'm wrong on that, someone please correct me....

Yes, I have confirmed with MS that Disney's Magic Express service is available to anyone staying at any Disney resort hotel including DVC resorts. This service is free during the Happiest Celebration on Earth promotion.

I am going to take a couple of Mommy/son trips (one for each son) this year and was going to fly if I can get a cheap enough deal to make the trips for less days, etc. Not having to deal with luggage would be such a blessing when traveling with a 2 or 4 year old and just me!
