Planning our first cruise and ??

Hi everybody! I have just found out that my parents are planning a family reunion cruise in October. I am sooo excited.

However, I don't think the Disney Cruise website is very informative. Once the reservations are made, do they mail you more specific information about dress codes, weather, kids clubs, etc?

Just visit this site often or some of the others people suggest (castawayclub.com very helpful with pictures) . YOu will get the answers to any and all questions you have!! I was totally prepared when we went thanks to this site

You will get great ideas and tips from this board. I would also suggest http://www:allearsnet.com/cruise/mdcg.doc It is long (over 20 pages), but has alot of info to help you get started. It is so helpful to be prepared. I did not find this board until after our first cruise and could have used the help. Happy planning.

Order the DCL DVD from the website or call them, it takes a few weeks to get to you, but it is well worth it. Also ask DCL to fax you the Q&A's if it is not on their website. That has alot of info about dress codes etc.

You can get the current brochure from your travel agent (not sure about whether you get one when you book with DCL directly). But even that doesn't give you enough information IMO. You can order the DVD or video from their website. I found myself watching it all the time before our first cruise.

Also, try to get the Passporter book for the Disney Cruise Line. It has alot of information. It think you can check it out at www.passporter.com.:)

Finally keep reading these boards!! Any question you have, someone will be able to answer it.
