For our December trip we plan on eating at LTT (before MVMCP) and mainly counter service( for lunch and dinners). I would like to include one sit down restaurant, preferably at Epcot or MGM. What would you pick??

We've done quite a few sit-downs and we keep going back to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. Buffet with great tasting food for adults and fun foods for the kids. Fun desserts. The characters are a plus but we'd go just for the meal. Most of the other sit-downs have had only "so-so" food.

If you choose Epcot, then Le Cellier.

If you choose MGM, then 50's Prime Time Cafe.

We like both... 50's is more fun, though!

Were it me, I'd pick Bistro D' paris in Epcot.
And the Brown Derby at MGM.

We really liked the Norway and Germany restaurants in Epcot, although they are buffet style (unusually good buffet, however).

The SCI-FI Dine in theater is my favorite at MGM, mainly because of the atmosphere. I've heard some negative comments about the food, but we thought it was very good.

You also might want to think about the Fantasmic Dinner Package. You get a dinner at one of three MGM restaurants as well as easy seating at the Fantasmic show at night. We're going to do this next time we go!

Good luck!

I would pick one of the restaurants in World Showcase basing your decision on the kind of food you like. There's just something about eating in World Showcase!

Would you be taking your kids?

We had a wonderful sit down lunch at San Angel Inn in Mexico with our children. And a fun sit down but relaxed dinner at ESPN Club.

DH and I had a wonderful dinner alone at Marakkesh.

Le Cellier is on our must try list next trip.

Another vote for Brown Derby's at MGM from me!

We went to Chef De France in Epcot and loved the tenderloin beef...

We had to make the same choice on picking one good sit down and we decided the Boma at AKL since it was getting all the praise. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Brown Derby at MGM is our favorite. Le Cellier is our second favorite. Doing both on our trip at Christmas.

If Epcot- I highly recommend Le Cellier.

If MGM- The Brown Derby was awesome last time we were there.
