How much time do you take off before your trip and after your return?
In my upcomming 09 trip I can only take off 1 day before, and one day after my return home. I'm scared I'll be wiped out after a 10 night trip.

I take at least one day on either side. Poor DW, on this trip, because she works for a school and we're going on spring break, she doesn't get any days off on either side!

We don't take any extra time off. We relax while we are at WDW and come back ready to go.

the way my husband schedual falls we worked it out so that he will be off 2 days before we leave and 2 days after, but he's schedual isn't typical... he worked this whole weekend... we will be gone for 12 days but he's only taking 7 'vacation days' and will still be on his days off 2 days before the trip and 2 days after. we try to plan this way on purpose.

We're teachers and we're traveling in August. So we'll have a month and a half before, 6 days after :)

Can you work it so that you leave on a Tuesday and get home on a Thursday? If you can swing it (and don't work weekends), you'll have a nice buffer around your vacation.

Show off! :rotfl2:

We are leaving on Tuesday. Comming home on Friday 13th :scared1:
I'm supposed to return to work on Sunday the 15th.
