So im trying to plan our park day as best I can, im looking for advice on early entry to DHS specifically, we will be using the skyliner and coming from pop century, how early can we actually get into the park and how early should we actually get there to be some of the first ones in. we plan on getting individual lightning lanes for both rise of the rsistance and millinium falcon. I was thinking we should head over to toystory land first and ride slinky dog first and then toy story mania and the alien saucers and then head over towards galaxys edge and ride star tours once or twice if possible before our ride times for our lightining lanes come up. Would like to do the cantina which I have learned we need lighting lanes for as well and eat at a restuarant in the area. I need to know specifics on times, what time to be at skyliner to get there in time to be some of the first ones in, how much time does it take to walk to the toy story area and how much time to get from that area to galaxys edge. thanks for any and all suggestions. we will be spending 2 days at this park and mostly interested in both these areas as they will be totally new to us.

To be one of the first in any park it is recommended you arrive at your resort’s transportation 90 mins before ETPE begins.

I would anticipate the walk to TSL will be approx 7 mins. TSL is attached to GE but from the entrance to TSL to GE is probably 3-4 mins.

We have an entire thread dedicated to Everything ETPE. Post 1 is summary details and then there are pages of discussion and experiences shared after that.

Not sure what you mean about needing a lightning lane for the cantina. If you mean Oga's - you need a dining reservation NOT a lightning lane. That you can make 60 days out. For the restaurant - do you mean Docking Bay 7 or Ronto Roasters? Both of those are quick service so you don't need a lightning lane or a ressie. You can either mobile order or just walk in. Both are very busy at "typical" meal times so going early (11am ish) or late (after 1:30) is usually a slower time.

For Pop and the skyliner, the skyliner starts running (I think) about 60-90 minutes before early entry. The day before Thanksgiving, we went to get in the Skyliner line about 7:15 for an 8:30 early entry and were WAY back in the line (like 2nd building from the end). We walked through the tapstyles at DHS at exactly 8:30am (which is LATE to get a lot done during early entry.) If you want to be toward the front of the Skyliner line, you probably need to get there between 6:30 and 6:45.

Thanks yes I meant Oga's so I will be sure to get reservations for that and thanks for the tip on getting in line for skyliner extra early.

We just got back from Disney. Here is what we did in HS. We bought LLSP for Rise and LLMP for MF, etc.

We got to HS at 7:40am. We were at the front of the line. We were let into the park about 8:15. We got in line for Slinky Dog. We had about a ten-minute wait. Then we did Alien Saucers. We walked over to Star Wars Land and did MF with our LL. No line, so members of our party did it again-single rider lane. Next, we did Rise with our LL.

We made a reservation for Oga. I will say I was disappointed in Oga's. The interior was nice enough, but I expected some Star Wars characters in costume. Nothing like that. To me-Oga's was a once and done.

Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land are side-by-side. A few minutes to get to.
