Planning MNSSHP 2017 - advice from recent attendees please

We're interested in attending one or two MNSSHPs in 2017. We'll be visiting during the weekend before Halloween. Presumably the party dates will be roughly the same. What two parties would you pick:

Friday before Halloween
Sunday before Halloween
Halloween (a Tuesday)

I'm leaning toward Halloween, as it would be a great way to celebrate on the actual day of, but I know it's often packed. Was that the case this year? Assuming it will be packed, which of the other dates would be best for getting stuff done?

All of those dates are going to be equally packed. I would even imagine the Friday and Saturday might actually sell out before the Tuesday Halloween next year but it is not uncommon for all the parties the weekend of Halloween to sell out so crowds will be the same.

I would say the Tuesday. Are you staying at a disney hotel? We were at POFQ on Halloween once at the hotel puts on a lot of fun activities including trick or treat and meet&greets. Check out your hotel.

We went two years ago on October 25th so it was almost a week before Halloween and it was a Sunday night. The party was not sold out that I know of. Walking around the park felt very crowded, but every ride we went on there was almost no wait and it felt much easier to get on rides than it did during the day at the park. Even though the park felt crowded you have to remember that a lot of people are in line to "trick-or-treat" or to meet the special characters that only come to the parties.
