Planning help!

We are really hoping to take my boys to Disney next month for their birthday. If we go, which dates do you think are better- Feb 10-13 or Feb 17-20. We will be at the parks Thur, Fri, Sat.

Also, we are looking at the La Quinta. Anyone have any experience there? Some of the reviews on tripadvisor aren't good, but my friend who is kind of a hotel snob stays there and says it is fine LOL

If we go the 17-20 the room is cheaper. We can get a 2-room suite for $69/night!

So the room would be about $210 and park hoppers for the 4 of us would be about $600, so how come if i look at booking a package through the Disneyland website, the total comes up to $1125? What am I missing?

I'd go 17-20 since the previous weekend is President's Day weekend and higher crowds.

That is the great mystery of booking packages ....I'd just book it seperately.

Ya, go after Pres. weekend, that's a busy one!! We have friends who stay at the La Quinta almost every time, they like it a lot, for that rate I'd definitely stay there.
