Ok so I'm trying to decide which park to visit each day when we go in Dec for our Wedding with our families. We've got 4 days and 4 parks to fit in. Dec 29th, Dec 31st, Jan 1st and Jan 2nd are the dates and MK, Epcot, AK and Sea World are the parks. We'll see Wishes on the 30th so don't need to see that but would like to fit Illuminations in and as i've only been before when Sea World shuts early I don't know if they'll have evening entertainment that's worth seeing. DF and I will have plenty of time after our families leave in Jan to go on all our fav rides, these days are for showing our familiy and friends the best the parks have to offer. We aren't leaving DHS out we are doing that on the 27th Dec.

The plan at the moment was to do the following:
29th AK and eat at Boma
31st Epcot till 1930 then eat at Cali Grill, watch midnight fireworks from beach
1st Sea World and eat at Wispering Canyon
2nd MK and eat at Ohana

DF thinks if we stick to this plan we'll be eating too late on the 31st plus we will miss Illuminations.

Any advice or suggestions?

i assume you know that you're talking about the MOST crowded time of the year....MOST crowded.....that has a meaning to it...
even more crowded than during the summer...

we're talking wall to wall people....

from xmas through new year.....

they actually run out of rental cars at this time of year, which is completely impossible for me to comprehend...

I have never been this time of year but from what I have read the parks are so busy you will be talking wall to wall people.

We were there in the 'quiet time' in December last year and we went into MK one night when Spectro was starting and had to enter via the back of the buildings in Main Street as you couldn't move it was so packed and we went to a sold out MVMCP which was packed so I would advise to plan accordingly as Christmas & New Year is the busiest time for Disney.

Hi Claire, If you are going to get from Epcot to the Cali Grill give yourself plenty of time, we left Epcot at 7.00 two years ago to go back for the Saratoga Pool Party, and it was seriously chaotic, people swarming to get into The WorldShow Case as we were trying to get out. The fireworks at MK on the 30th are amazing, they preview the New Year Fireworks, could you maybe book a nice dinner at Epcot on the 31st and catch Illuminations then?

Yes I am aware, this is why I was asking for advice.

Thanks Jules I think thats probably a good idea. I wanted to go to the Cali Grill but i'm sure we can do that another night instead.
