We are headed to WDW for Easter. We are travlling with another family, so 11 people total. We are staying offsite in Emerald Island. We each have our own mini van.

I am a natural born planner. The family we are going with well, not so much. Ok, not at all. I have reserved the villa, the plane tickets...you get the picture:) I also understand that neither family is under any obligation to spend all their time together. They may want to do something that we won't and vice versa. We are very good friends and next door neighbors and usually hang out Fri and Sat nights every weekend. We have traveleld before together.

I am flexible and realize that everyone is not the same and I can deal with that. I do not need every minuted or detail planned. I do think that since we are going at a very busy time, that we should sit down and at least do a brief plan - like which parks on which days, etc. Do we want water parks, etc.

We are not doing any ADR's and don't plan on any sit down type restaurants. They are a family of 6 and we are trying to keep costs down.

Any advice on how to tackle this? ANy advice?

Make it fun, on one of the weekends have them over and have a disney night. Maybe watch the planning DVD. Have the kids help you or let them watch a Disney movie while the adults plan which days to do which parks. I think with that many people you should know at least where you are going on what days. Maybe you can have them try to make a list of the things they want to do on vacation and you do the same then on Disney night see what matches up, do those things together that are the same on your list, those that don't will be your own family time. Maybe you can make Mickey head pizzas (3 balls of dough) or have mickey cookies after dinner. Could be fun for the kids to get into the disney spirit. If they are young let them dress up as a favorite character. I'm sure lots of little girls have princess stuff princess:

It is always best to plan but it is good to be flexible too. However if you do get together you might remind them that you are going at one of the busiest times of the year so it would be good to plan some things. Remember to make PS's and maybe decide on what day you will be where. Enjoy
