HI. I'm having an escape wedding w/ only a few guests.
Does Disney provide a guestbook? Where would we even put one since its an outdoor ceremony?

Also, i bought a little thank you favor to give my guests but i dont know where to put them if i give it to them after the cake cutting ceremony.
I would like to give it to them once we're done w/ the 'reception' lunch but i'd have to carry them around in the parks first.

It would be nice to give it to them after the ceremony since they're going back to their resort right afterwards, BUT where would i put them? Should i leave them in our resort room (same location as ceremony) and have the groom go get them after the ceremony and cake cutting is over?

What did you do for your guests. I heard of welcome bags on the site but when would you give those? Did you also give a thank you favor?

Please give suggestions.

Disney does not provide a guest book, but you can provide one and have disney set it up. Or you could give it to your planner the day of the wedding (before the ceremony) and have it passed while everyone is enjoying their yummy cake. (I think that might be the better option, b/c you don't want to have to pay disney to set a guest book table up or anything.) Just ask your planner on this one, I'm sure it's a super easy fix.

As far as the favors, I would again give them to the planner before the ceremony. She can place them on the guests seats for the ceremony so that then they have them. If they're going back to their rooms right after the ceremony & cake and champagne toast then you're golden, problem solved!!

I gave welcome bags to my guests at our welcome dinner two nights before the wedding. I brought those myself and handed them out directly to the guests. Our wedding favors, I shipped down to the resort I was staying at the week before the wedding, picked them up when we flew them in and took them over to franc's to be held for my planner. She set them up for me at our dinner reception; so they were in place when everyone came into the room. They were lennox mickey ear ornaments with their names written on them in gold pen, so they doubled as seating/place cards!

HTH!! :thumbsup2

Give the favors to your planner and put them on the guest's seat. What are your favors???

If you don't want to do that then maybe you could put them in a basket on display somewhere and hand them out before they go back to thier resort.

our favors, at this point, are just small candles that are palm trees, which goes w/ our location, and they are in a plastic container and it says thank you. got them from davidsbridal. what did you give?

I didn't give favors out at the wedding...I did at the reception. we had 2x3 picture frames with our enggagement pictures and I put them in pink organza bags and had a tag that said Lynn & Tim.

I had a guest "page" instead of a whole book. Since we only had 8 guests a whole guest book seemed out of place, so I made a scrapbook page for everyone to sign. I had Disney do the favors (chocolate wedding Mickey and Minnie) and my MOH gave the guest page to our planner before the ceremony. She set it out on the table that held our glasses, beverages, and the chocolates. It was very convenient, guests signed and took their favor. Disney is great about working with you, so just let your planner know that you'll have a guest book and favors and I'm sure she'll find a place for them.
