Hello,

Now is the time to start planning our Florida hoilday for next year.
We want to travel out on Saturday 16th July 2005 for 14 nights.

Currently i can not search for Virgin or BA, as you can not book 350 days in advance

I have checked with MYTRAVEL (we flew with these last year) from Birmingham. I have got a quote for 2-adults & 1 child for approx. £1,550 - flydrive. Can anyone confirm what their policy is this year for maximum child age, as last year it was up to the age of 19 ??

Will any other travel agents better the qoute i have got from MYTRAVEL ?

How much extra would it cost to travel with BA or Virgin - what extras do you get with these airlines ??

Thanks for your help.

You should be able to get a price for a Virgin fly-drive - it's the flight only prices which won't be released yet :)

We've booked a Virgin flydrive for December 2005, so you shouldn't have a problem getting July prices. As Hilary says, flight only bookings can only be made 11 months in advance.

thanks for this info.

i have just got a quote from Virgin for a flydrive from Manchester including car insurances etc..etc..at a cost of £2,600 (3-adults).

is this a good price, as it is £1,000 more than MYTRAVEL ?

Thanks for the advice on Virgin.

After a day of checking different companies, I have just booked a flydrive with Virgin Atlantic, flying from Manchester on Thursday 14th July 2005. I checked the Virgin website and my local travel agents (CoOp) have price matched it !!!

Total cost is £2,200 for 3 adults (DD is 17, so i have to pay full cost !!), and this includes 16-day car parking, and platinum car insurance package with an I4 type car.

I checked out the MYTRAVEL website as well and to go with them on the 16th July (2-days later), including car insurance but no carparking at Brimingham airport was going to cost £2,100.

So i think i bagged a bargain :)

I now need some help / advice on finding a good villa....please !!

Looks like a good deal on the flights.

We've just booked what I think is a good deal through www.orlandovillas.com - just broadcast to all villa owners and take best reply.

We got a 3 bed villa for £1045 for first 3 weeks in July next year.

Excellent news on your Virgin flights - it sounds a better deal than you had anticipated :)

Are there any other good sites that offer well priced villas for next year, are there any members within this forum that own and rent villas in Orlando ?
