I've booked two rooms for my family at SL Dec 31 - Jan 3, woohoo! I added the NYE party. Also added half board plus because it seemed like a good value (still a little confused but anyway) and made some dining reservations: Walt's, Plaza Gardens, and The steakhouse. However, I want to make sure we see the drone shows, fireworks, and parade but there isn't a schedule for those for my dates yet, it seems. What times are they normally so I can at least have an idea while there's still some availability to rearrange dining reservations? Thanks!

Drone show and fireworks are at park closing, so that should be fine. You will be visiting during the school holidays, closing will be probably after dinner time.

Parade is harder to say, I think they keep it somewhere between 16.30 and 17.30, regardless the sun has set or is about to set, and the parade is designed as a day parade.

What times are your reservations?

We arrive on 31 Dec in the mid afternoon so I booked Walt's for 17:15 (the latest that was available). My hope is that we can then stay in the park to transition to the NYE party. I know there's a NYE dinner but they're closed today so can't ask if there's availability left, though I assume not at this point.

On 1 Jan we have The Steakhouse at 18:15. On 2 Jan Plaza Gardens at 15:45. Depending on when the parade is scheduled, we might be able to see it one of the days? I think I can move the Steakhouse to later to be sure.

By the way, do you know why I can't book a showtime for Mickey and the Magician? Availability only shows through the first week of Nov!

For Walts you might be there at a good time. Try to get a window seat next to Main Street, you might be able to see the parade during your meal.

And you will be able to make reservations for Mickey and the Magician when they open up. They don't sell them this far in advance. If it is now only the first week of November, it'll be one week at a time.
