Planning for late March

Hello! We're planning our first family trip to DLR for the last week of March this year. I'm so impressed with all of the information you guys have posted here, it's been so helpful.

We are just planning our trip, and I'm flexible about our Disney days, but I would like to stay Monday March 26th through probably the 29th. I have been thinking of that week as an early Spring Break week, so I've been assuming that the parades/fireworks/Fantasmic would be running during the weekdays. I know Easter isn't until April 8th, so it's outside Peak spring break weeks, but I'm hoping for a good compromise of crowded/but not TOO crowded, good park hours, and midweek activities.
Do you think that's realistic? Or should I make sure we're there at least one weekend night to ensure we see the fireworks?

I'm also struggling with an onsite/offsite decision. I love the idea of staying at DLH, but having 5 of us in one room isn't ideal. If we stay in an off site suite hotel, does anyone know if ART starts early enough that we would still be able to make our Magic Morning?

Thank you!

This year, the parks were open until midnight all week and Easter wasn't until late April. You should be good. According to the hours listed on this sight, even fantasmic was nightly that week.

Yeah it will be full operations that week, this is almost 100% likely. It will be very crowded, only a little better than super crowed Spring Break.

Planning to use ART is ok if it's a must, but you are much better off staying within walking distance. ART starts an hour earlier than normal hour days, 40 minutes earlier on Magic Morning days. This makes it a little tough but possible to get there in time for the start of MM. Compare that to a 10 minute walk from a dozen hotel choices.

Thank you, that is very helpful!

Does anyone have opinions about walking distance suite hotels? I have checked HOJO, and the kids suite isn't available that week. I don't know anything about any of the other places. Park Vue has suites, I believe?
I'm also wondering about just doing adjoining rooms at the HOJO or the Candy Cane. But I have to make sure they will guarantee the adjoining part!
