Hi! :wave2:

My dd (13) and I will be traveling to Europe with her Girl Scout (Girl Guide) troop next June. We end the trip in Paris.

DD and I are going to stay behind while the rest of the troop returns home.

We are huge disney fans and want to plan to visit Disneyland Paris. We are looking at staying at one of the disney hotels.

Since we are from California this will most likely be our one and only visit to DLP. :cool1::cheer2:

We'd like to visit both parks.

How many days would you suggest?

I was thinking 2 to 3. I imagine the first day after we drop the troop off at the airport would be a recovery day (after supervising 10 kids on a whirlwind tour). We want to make the most of the trip.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds a wonderful if exhausting trip! Three days would better for DLP as it'll give you long enough to take your time and smell the roses. :goodvibes

Have you looked at the choice of Disney hotels yet? The Disneyland Hotel is lovely and the location can't be beat.

Hi,

You will find the layout in Paris similar to California with 2 parks very close together. If you could allow for 2 full days so 3 nights that would be perfect. The drop off/recovery day you could go for a swim and then maybe see Dreams and then have 2 full days and however late you can stay on the last day

Is also worth noting that you can book UK/French deals which tend to be better value than the US deals!

Thank you all for your great tips!

I did not know that I could book on the other countries websites. That's good to know.

It looks like we are planning for three nights at the hotel. We would love to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Normally we don't stay at the top of line hotels when we travel to DLR or WDW. But....since this will be our one and only trip to DLP we are going to budget for the Disneyland Hotel.

We do want time to stop and smell the roses. The first part of our trip with her troop is a go, go, and continuing going type of trip. We are traveling with a company that puts in as much as they can. Both DD and I want to ensure that our DLP time is leisurely and special. We both are huge Disney fans so this is a huge dream come true for us. pixiedust:
