Planning for a trip in Oct. 2005

Hi and welcome to the Dis. I have learned a lot of info on these boards and I consider myself kind of an expert.

We stayed at All Star Movie Resort this past Halloween. I suggest to keep checking the Disney website for information on the MNSSHP. It takes place several weekends in October and it books up fast!! (I think dates and prices were posted early June last year) It was alot of fun!! Free candy, free family photo, great parade and a special Halloween fireworks. Don't forget to visit the Liberty Tree and watch the spooky storyteller recite the Tale of the Headless Horseman.

Staying on property is a must. We did it for the first time last year and will never stay off property again. As soon as we knew our dates we booked everything. If there is a special deal come up the cast members at Disney Travel will help you get them. We called back and got an adjustment because a special discount came available a couple of months after we made our initial bookings.

We had GREAT weather!! It was a lot warmer than I thought it would be. Low 80's to low 90's! Not a drop of rain, and the crowds were minimal. I think the longest we waited in line was 20 min.
Have a great time!!
