Woo-hoo! I can now start saying we're going to Disney next year

We were going to go this Nov but decided that it would be best to fly out to visit SIL on the West Coast while the baby is still under 2 and free. And since we still need 3 tickets(for us and older son...he's 3.5 right now), it's still going to be a pricey trip and eat into our vacation budget for this year. So we're doing Disney next year instead. I'm a teacher so our dates are limited to July, Aug, and the week in Nov(yes, we're from NJ).

So when does anyone know when they will start booking 2013 reservations so I can start playing with dates and hoping for a PIN code?

Looking forward to getting lots of advice from all you experts in the upcoming months. Our last trip was way too long ago(Aug 2005)! We had a couple vacations we wanted to take before having kids and then DH didn't want to go Disney with a baby(DS1 born 3/08) And now we have a 2nd baby!(DS2 born 6/11)

We're always early too You can book anytime to hold the room (approx $200). We stayed March of 2011, and the earliest we could book the package was August 1st 2010. I'm not sure if it's based on # of months in advance, or if August 1st is the earliest for the coming year. I recommend speaking with the Disney folks at the 800# to find out for sure. Have fun!

if it helps, when we went in Sept of 2010 we booked our trip in November 2009. I got a pin code the beginning of November 2009 for all of 2010. I think they start sending pins out (for the following year) AFTER the rates are announced in August.

We're also going next year! You're right, it DOES feel so good to finally be able to say that! We're planning for June 2013, so I'm hoping to make our reservations in Sept. (after the 2013 packages and prices are announced in August). Then if we're lucky enough to get a pin code, I'll call back w/ that number. PLEASE DISNEY GODS!!!

Keep in mind your 180 (+10) days for ADR's if you're staying onsite. For us, we're going to have to make our dining adr's this December, so I want to make sure we're all booked w/ the dining plan before this.....

It's so fun to believe that I'll be making ADR's THIS year !! You can hold your room for a $200 fee, but do you really want to tie up $200? If you get a pin code, I think they have to cancel your room only and then book a package. ( I could be wrong though....) But personally, I don't want to tie up that money yet..... it'll be here before you know it !

Good thinking! Unless I hit the lottery or get a giant raise at work, we'll be skipping 2012 for the same reason. We're thinking October as well!

My cousin and I are planning our first ever trip to WDW for November 2013! I hope we can book sooner rather than later so we can make payments longer!!

Going to WDW is a dream of mine and I can't wait!

My sis and I hope to do a sept (her Bday) trip. We r doing 1 nite contemporary, 4-nite Bahamas cruise and 4 nite POR. I am hoping that I can work this all in with a Halloween party as we have done the VMXP.

And yes I am planner obsessive and pretty much have most things scratched out and just waiting for park times and parade times for this year so I can plan our meals and parks. I wanna do the imagineers lunch. So I gotta watch those ADR dates too

October 2013. Big family trip (13 of us) and my college graduation trip. Can't wait until we can reserve.

This will be my families 2nd trip and the big families 1st. Last trip was in 2009.

yah! im hoping to go nov 1- 10, catching the last mnsshp and 1st mvmcp and food and wine. I hope it works out. we just got back last month for my college graduation and im so ready to take my DS back when he gets older. He is not coming with me this year's trip
