We are planning on returning to DL/DCA in December of 2005. I know, I have a LOT of time to plan, but I need to do SOMETHING while I wait, right?
We will probably have 4 adults and one child (5 y.o. by then). We may have a fifth adult if my bro comes and we may also have a tag along family with us, but they will either follow our intinerary or meet up with us along the way.
I envision about 10 actual vacation days, not including 2 days to fly in and out from Honolulu.
The consensus so far is that we'd like to the following:
DL/DCA - 3 to 5 days
1 day each at:
Knotts
Legoland
SD Zoo
Sea World
Would you:
1) do a couple of days at Disney then head to SD for those parks and end back with a few more days at Disney
or
2) Do SD first and then spend a good 5 days in Disney?
Either way, we have to END in Disney or it just wouldn't seem right.
I am leaning toward #1 because I cannot imagine just driving by DL when we get into Anaheim and not going in.
It would entail more moving and coordinating hotels, but I think as long as everyone is on board with the plan, it shouldn't be a problem.
What would you do?
