Hi

My son is going to DLP in May with his school. We have been to WDW before and have found the DVDs very useful for planning our trips. Does DLP have anything like this? If so can anyone help me to find out how to get one.

Thanks:cool1:

There was a planning DVD available last year either via the Red Button on Sky, but I don't think it's on the new adverts or it was sent out with brochures requested from the DLRP website, whether that's still the case I don't know - sorry.

Perhaps someone else on here can help. :confused3

As Jill states there used to be a planning dvd but it does not appear to be distributed any more :)

the downloadable brochure is excellent, however, and frankly provides more concrete information than the planning videos I have seen for WDW and DL. I recommend downloading the brochure and reading this site for specific information.

I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm going to anyway... I bought a DVD on Ebay that contained far more material than any planning DVD. The seller also sells holidays to DLRP and the DVD did have the occasional 'advert' reminding you of that, it was a very good DVD that showed you the DLH, took you on rides, showed parades, plus park footage... nearly two hours worth in fact!

I've just checked and the same seller has a few more for sale :happytv:

I got the book "Disneyland Paris-From Sketchbook to reality" ordered direct from the author who writes on miceage sometimes. At the time, he included the planning DVD, but don't know if the offer is still valid. It was different than the US ones. It followed a family (of actors, natch) during their trip as opposed to just highlighting points of interest. It says it will play in all DVD players in any country, but we were only able to get it to work on a computer.

A bientot.

I got that one too KEVANKIKI it's superb really good.

There is a DVD available from a travel company called "Travelscope", I heard about in on another forum and mine arrived this morning.

Call 24hr hotline on 0870 380 3333 quoting DPCD.

or email them @ reader.travel@nng.co.uk and the code is hm699.

It's a version of the "Where" promo ad, but has a different narrator, I have a feeling the travel company have done it themselves. It's not a planning video as such but shows you some of the attractions.:)
