I got my planning DVD in the mail today, and ever so excitedly opened it up! I then put in in the (cheap) DVD player in the living room, and it stopped working! So I decided that it must be the player and went to my bedroom, where I have a better player. It won't even start! It says that the DVD cannot be played!!!! :sad2:

Is there anything I can do? I guess I just have to order another one...

Did you book through a travel agent? or do you have a travel agent that you deal with regularly? We got our DVD from a travel agent last year. But we just got our new one last week and loved it.

I'm sure you've already tried this, but sometimes a quick clean wipe of the back works. :confused3

I also had trouble with my DVD. Got as far as the Disney Studios section before it shut down. Tried it in the 2nd player and it worked fine.

You can count me in too! Everytime I watch it (no matter which dvd player) it skips and sometimes shuts down. I can't even view the Disneyland section or the Planning section because it wont work. I already ordered another, hopefully that will solve the problem.

Odd, no problems here.

Are your DVD players old?

The players are not that old... I tried cleaning the DVD just in case, but it didn't make any difference on mine. I took it to my Dad's and it worked fine... it's just a little annoying that I can't get it to work on my own DVD player. It says "DVD Cannot be played." I haven't watched it all through, but watched parts with my nephew. He enjoyed it... I did too, but was very dissappointed. :confused3

For anyone who wants to play it on there computer, i use a program called Video lan player, ( http://www.videolan.org/ ) it an all in one download that plays everything on my computer.

When i got my DVD from Disney i could not play it on my DVD player (I don't have a cheap one) so i put it in my computer and this program played it with no issues.

I watch DVD's, Weekly TV, HD TV and so on with this player.

The Best part is it's a FREE.....

It's a great little program! If anyone wants to try it out and needs a little help drop me a PM and i will get back to you!
