Planning another magical 5th birthday

CONGRATS!! :cool1: Awesome feeling!

Yay for being paid off!! :)

:yay: :woohoo: :yay: great news! Love being paid off!

Wooooooo! So nice having it paid off ! Makes it just s little bit enjoyable when you're there! :goodvibes

Thanks everyone! I was getting a little nervous as our day it needed to be paid in full was getting closer and closer. But we made it. Woo hoo.
Now my parents need to get theirs paid off by Saturday I think. So Friday my mom is going to come over, deposit her money in my account, we are going to go to Target and get her a bunch of gift cards through my debit red card and pay hers off the same way so that I can save her about $80. I am so glad we learned about that from the DIS!

Well, I have definitely got behind on this PTR.
I will try to post a few of the things we have been doing the last couple of weeks.
We had our Incredibles movie night.
For dinner we had "Super" Hero sandwiches, disapearing chips,

And for dessert we had Frozone's perfect sundaes with "superfruit".

We also had Peter Pan night. We went with a fun pirate theme and during the week we watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean with Abi after Maddy was in bed. I wasn't sure if she would be ready for them yet but she really enjoyed it.
So since it was Talk like a pirate day we did that theme with Peter Pan to bring it all together.
We had pirate ship pizza.

I made homemade breadsticks to look like hooks. But to be honest, I took a picture of this one because I think it looks more like a penguin. :rotfl:

And we had some root beer "ale" in pirate cups along with some chocolate gold dublooms.

I recently finished Abi's Sofia the first dress!! This was a huge project. Way harder than I thought it would be. She wants to be Sofia for halloween and then we will be taking along the dress to use for her BBB dress in November (obviously she doesn't know that yet).
I used a Cinderella dress pattern that I picked up on sale a few months ago. I knew that it would work well because it would have the little poofs on top of the hips the way Sofia does. I didn't, however, think of all the other things I would have to change/add.
I had to do two skirts. One regular and one with a scalloped bottom, I sewed on a bunch of pom-poms along the edge of the scalloped skirt and then had to make and sew on flower petals. Then there was ribbon and a few pom poms onto the bodice. and then ribbon all along the bottom of the underskirt.
I usually make patterns a size bigger than I need so that they last longer but this pattern must have run very big. It was quite a bit too long when I tried it on her so I had to take it up underneath.
Then the front is a little low cut. That is because the top is a bit too big so after taking the pictures I decided to take the back in a little bit. I haven't done this yet... but hopefully will get to it in the next few days.
As for now though here is what it looks like. She absolutely loves it so that makes all the many hours worth it. Sorry the pictures are so dark. I will try to get better pictures of it when it is fixed.

Also, last week I started preschool with Maddy for her last year of preschool before she gets to go to kindergarten. She was so excited. When I took Abi back to school shopping Maddy asked if she would be able to get a special outfit for her first day of school too. So I took her to gymboree. I just love the outfit she picked out.

Love the sofia dress! Great job!!!:thumbsup2

Awww.. Back to school shopping. She really did pick out a great outfit!!!

Very cute pirate week. Themed movie nights are fun aren't they?

They are SO much fun!! I love doing them. Even if they are simple they just add a little fun to the week. :goodvibes

The Sofia dress looks great and I love the back to school outfit!

Thanks! I am hopefully going to finish up the back today to make it smaller and then can move on to Maddy's Cinderella dress! :cool1:

Thanks! She is thrilled with it. I am just glad she wants it for Halloween so that she could try it on without knowing about the trip. It would have been a disaster if we had got to Disney and realized how big it was on her!
I love Maddy's outfit so much. I am so glad she picked it.

Love the 2 movie nights!

The Sofia dress came out wonderful! And I love Maddy's back to school outfit :)

Thank you! I am excited about it.
Maddy was so happy the day that I told her to put it on because she has been pretty anxious about our late start to the preschool year. :goodvibes

Today we will not be waking up super early. :cool1: It will be more like this....

We will eventually meet up with my parents for breakfast. To be honest, my mom and I and my kids are all early risers so it probably won't be too late... just late for Disney. We are planning to get breakfast at POP!
Disney-Breakfast-Pop-Century-Waffle.jpg

We have never eaten breakfast there so I am kind of excited about trying it.
Then we will spend time with them however they want until they have to leave for the airport.

After they leave we will either swim or do downtown Disney or just laze around the resort until around 2-3.
It is going to probably be a crazy busy day at Magic Kingdom based on crowd calendars... but I chose to be there this day because we really want to see the Electrical parade and this is the only day we could on our trip.

So, at around that time we will head to the Kingdom to get there in time for our FP+ meeting Tinkerbell.

Then we will have another FP+ at 4-5 for the 7 Dwarves Mine Train!

Our last FP+ of the day is meeting Anna and Elsa from 5:10-6:10.

I will still try to change this to Monday if I can before the trip. But as for now I am just so glad to have one nailed down. Just in case I can't change it.

We will pick up dinner somewhere quick service and then wait out the Electircal pageant at 8pm. We may stay for Wishes at 9pm if it isn't too crazy. Maybe we will do some Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. And then we will make it back to our room and crash.

Wow! What a fantastic dress! How incredible to have the talent to create that!

Love the super hero sandwiches! So cute!

I love the relaxed days!! Just lets you soak in the vacation so much more I think!!

Sounds like a great day- relaxing at the resort and MK at night! Hopefully the crowds won't be too bad and at least you have those 3 FP to rely on!!

Love the plans and i hope MK isn't so busy for you!!!

I hope so too. We got so lucky on our last trip with such small crowds... but I think it was because it was so freaking cold that December. So, we really have no idea what to expect. But we will make the best of whatever happens!

Love the Sophia dress!

Thank you! I am so happy to be done with it. I just took in the top a few inches and added a zipper in the back instead of the elastic and buttons. It is still a little low so she will have to wear an undershirt but... she still loves it.

Thanks! I am so happy to be able to move onto my next project. I just cut out the pattern (the same one, only smaller) to make Maddy's Cinderella BBB dress. This one will be trickier because I won't be able to try it on her!Or sew when either girl is around...
Thanks. They were really yummy.
Yeah, by this time of the trip I think we will really need a relaxing morning!

Yeah. At least if we can't do anything else we know we will be able to meet Anna and Elsa, Tink, and ride that mine train along with watching the parade. I hope it's still not too bad... but if it is we will figure it out. :goodvibes

Doing a joint post for these days since they will consist of a similar routine.
Both days we will be getting up early and over to Epcot for rope drop.
Wednesday we will spend a lot of the day in Future World.
We have FP+ for Soarin', Nemo, and Turtle talk with Crush.
We will probably have lunch at Sunshine Seasons.
Depending on the how the day goes we will then move into World Showcase and see the countries we didn't get a chance to see a lot of on our last Epcot day.
We have dinner at Chef Mickey's this night.

By Thursday I think we will have been to most of Epcot but we will still have another day here.
We will have FP+ for Soarin' and Nemo again and then one for Spaceship Earth.
This is the day that I think we will let the girls try out some Agent P adventures and see what they think of it.
Then we will have dinner for the first time at Garden Grill. We are excited to try something new and have the characters there.
We will probably be catching Illuminations this night.

This will be our last night in Disney so the major plan is to soak in as much magic as we can!
