Planning an Early August Trip Late in the process

Hi All,

Because of some family issues we didn't plan a Summer vacation. Things have cleared up on the family front and we are now thinking of a WDW vacation but it appears that all of the discounts on rooms and packages have dried up since we got such a late start.

I just thought I'd ask on here and see if anyone has any thoughts on whether I am missing any discounts or on how one may get some discounts with the late start we have gotten. We are thinking about the first or second week of August.

Pretty much out of luck with Disney direct. The only other thing I'd check is travel agencies that might have something or sites like Expedia for a room only reservation.

Depending on where you want go stay, you might have some discounted rental point options.

Annual pass discounts are still out there. Call Disney and have them price out your dates with the pass holder discount for room only reservations. Just one person in your party needs an annual pass (book in the pass holder's name) for the discount to apply. The difference in the savings can greatly out weigh the cost of the annual pass.

Any chance you are from Canada? The summer discounts are still available to Canadians for a few more days.
