Planning Alaska Cruise on Wonder - Room ???'s

I have a question for anyone who's ever sailed a June cruise to Alaska. Weird question: What time does the sun set? We'll be sailing 9-3 days away from the Summer equinox (the longest day of the year).

I've never been to Alaska in my life! Is it truly "the land of the midnight sun"?
Will my kids not want to sleep because "it's not night yet!"? LOL

We sailed last year on the June 21st cruise - longest day of the year. I think the sun set around 11 BUT it never got really dark - even at 2 or 3am you could still see the scenery going by. Sort of like the light from a really really bright full moon.

Reservation done!! We decided to go with category 5C...just couldn't give up the open balcony. Really looking forward to this cruise, too bad it's not till next year!!
