Planning advice...

Well I know i'm a bit behind with all the Disney news, but i've just read the soft opening is starting 19th November? If I go with the dates we had picked yesterday that will b 3 days before we leave! I guess its a silly question to ask how crazy its going to be?!

So....do I stick with 27th Oct -12th Nov....or 6th Nov - 21st Nov?

Pros & cons of the different date? All advice greatly recieved, its been 4 years since our last trip & our first with our DD who will b 3 & 2 months ( which i'm worried about too

I don't think I'd change based on a soft opening. A soft opening means that they will be letting some people in - but you aren't guaranteed. I don't think many people show up just for that. The definite opening is 12/6 - so that means more folks will show up then.

As for the difference in the dates - your October dates will get you Halloween decorations and your November dates will get you Christmas decorations. Not sure if that weighs into it for you or not.

As for traveling with little ones - take a deep breath! I have been traveling with my kids to WDW since they were 2.5 years old and 9 months respectively. Few things to keep in mind:

* Know where the baby care stations are. These are really nice and a place that you can decompress, feed the little one and take a breather. Lots of great CMs there to help you also.
* Take breaks in the middle of the day and don't push it. We found that going back to the room in the middle of the day was a good time for naps - whether us or the kids!
* Enjoy every minute! Before you know it, they will be all grown up so lots of pictures is a definite must. Mine are now 15 and 11 and I wonder where they came from!
