Planning Advice Needed - Plan AK day for possible Pandora soft open?

We are going to Orlando May 20-26. We are spending 2 days at Universal and arriving at Disney on the 22nd. Since the trip is relatively short, we had planned to skip AK altogether. However, since Pandora has been announced for May 27 open, I am trying to decide if we should try to make it over for a couple of hours to see if there is a soft open. I know these things aren't really scheduled so I'm at a loss. My two potential plans for now are (for Monday, 22nd):

1) Sleep in at Universal resort - get to Poly about 10 am, drop bags and head to MK (I assume our room will not be ready) - tea at GF at 2:30, back to Poly after - twilight feast from Ohana then Wishes (Happily Ever After?) Dessert Party

2) Get up at crack of dawn and head straight to AK for AM EMH (I will do online check in, so I assume we will be able to get in for the EMH) to try and catch a glimpse of Pandora - will get to Poly probably about noon'ish - rest of day will remain the same, so we will just be prioritizing AK over MK.

3) On Friday 26th, stop by AK after our goodbye breakfast at the Poly to see if we can get lucky. We wouldn't get there until probably noon and wouldn't plan on staying for more than a couple of hours, but it could work if we really want it too. It's moot though if there is just no way there will be soft opens that week.

I'm really torn about this. I'd love to sneak a peek into Pandora but staying another day is just not in the cards. We will be back, so its not like we will never see it. All of the "special" things are surprises for DD for her 16th birthday and she is bringing a friend who has never been.

So, any thoughts or insights? Or other ideas I haven't thought of yet?

You're right - I forgot about that. Well, makes my decision easier! If I hear reports to the contrary while we're there, we may just stop by on our last day and just take a shot at it. Thanks for the reminder!

I can see a limited and controlled soft opening being part of the press event.
